Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp milk or cream (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Chives, finely sliced (optional)
Steps
- Crack eggs into a bowl; add milk/cream if using and a pinch of salt. Whisk until fully homogenous.
- Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium‑low until foamy.
- Pour in eggs; with a spatula, push slowly from edges to center, forming soft curds.
- When mostly set but still glossy, remove from heat; residual heat will finish cooking.
- Season with pepper, top with chives, and serve immediately.
