Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Lemon wedges

Steps

  1. Pat salmon dry; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil over medium‑high until shimmering.
  3. Sear salmon, skin‑side up, 2–3 min until golden; flip.
  4. Add butter; baste 1–2 min to medium.
  5. Rest 2 min; serve with lemon.
